Toyota Tacoma (2015-2018) Service Manual: Installation

INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL VANE PUMP

(a) Install the vane pump assembly with the 2 bolts.

(a) Install the vane pump assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

21 N·m {214 kgf·cm, 15 ft·lbf}

(b) Connect the oil pressure switch connector.

NOTICE:

Make sure that no oil adheres to the connector.

2. CONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install a new gasket onto the pressure feed tube.

(a) Install a new gasket onto the pressure feed tube.

(b) Install the pressure feed tube with the union bolt.

Torque:

50 N·m {510 kgf·cm, 37 ft·lbf}

(c) Connect the return hose with the clip.

3. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

Click here 4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque:

5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

Click here 7. CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID LEAKAGE

8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Torque:

30 N·m {306 kgf·cm, 22 ft·lbf}
