PROCEDURE
1. CUSTOMIZE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Smart Key System)
HINT:
The following items can be customized.
NOTICE:
(a) Customizing with the Techstream
(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(2) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(3) Turn the Techstream on.
(4) Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Wireless Door Lock.
(5) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

1. REMOVE KNUCKLE GREASE RETAINER CAP (for 2WD)
(a) Using a screwdriver and hammer, remove the knuckle grease retainer cap.
2. REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB OIL SEAL (for 4WD)
(a) Using a screwdriver and hammer, remove the front axle hub oil seal.

(a) When turning the center No. 2 support bearing assembly with your hand, check
that it turns smoothly without catching and that there are no cracks or damage.
