Use the bed view to check the condition and position of cargo in the Toyota Tacoma bed. The camera image provides an additional visual reference for monitoring the load without leaving the driver's seat.

  1. Bed view button for selecting the camera image of the cargo bed
  2. Zoom button for magnifying the applicable bed camera view
  • The bed zoom view can be displayed temporarily when Toyota Tacoma bed zoom view selection button is pressed while the vehicle is traveling at approximately 9 mph (16 km/h) or more. This provides a closer camera view of the bed area for the permitted display period.
  • While the applicable screen is displayed, pressing the switch changes between the bed zoom view and hitch zoom view, allowing the driver to check either the cargo bed or the hitch area as needed.

Magnifying function

If objects shown in the panoramic view are too small to identify clearly, the display can magnify the area around any of the 4 corners of the Toyota Tacoma. This function provides a closer look at the selected portion of the surrounding camera image while maneuvering at low speed.

 Magnifying the display

1. Turn the intuitive parking assist on so that the magnifying function can operate under the required conditions.

2. On the panoramic view display, select the area around the vehicle that you want to enlarge.

  • The magnifying function can be used only when all of the following conditions are satisfied:
    • The panoramic view & front view or panoramic view & rear view is currently displayed.
    • Vehicle speed is below approximately 10 mph (16 km/h).
    • The intuitive parking assist is available for operation.

    • Vehicle speed reaches approximately 10 mph (16 km/h) or higher.
    • The intuitive parking assist becomes unavailable.
  • While the image is magnified, the normal guide lines are not displayed. Judge the area around the Toyota Tacoma using the enlarged camera image together with direct visual observation of the surroundings.
