INSTALLATION

). - If the side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat assembly with a new one.
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
- Follow the procedure described below in order to prevent the seat tracks from locking separately.
- Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
(a) Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.
(b) Install the 2 bolts on the front side of the front seat assembly.
Torque:
37 N·m {377 kgf·cm, 27 ft·lbf}
(c) Install the 2 bolts on the rear side of the front seat assembly.
Torque:
37 N·m {377 kgf·cm, 27 ft·lbf}
(d) Connect the front seat airbag connector.
(e) Connect the connectors.
(f) Engage the wire harness clamp.
2. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER
HINT:
Use the same procedures for both sides.
(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the seat track cover.
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque:
5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
