DESCRIPTION
If a front door glass or the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) or power window regulator motor assembly (front passenger door) does not operate smoothly, the catch protection function may be triggered automatically, resulting in the auto down operation being unable to fully open the window.

PERFORM INITIALIZATION (APPLICABLE LOCATION) |
(a) Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly (applicable location)

CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (AUTO UP / DOWN FUNCTION (APPLICABLE LOCATION)) |
(a) Check that each front power window moves when the auto up and down function
of the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch
assembly are operated (See page
).
OK:
Auto up and down functions are normal (applicable location).

CHECK WINDOW GLASS SLIDING MOVEMENT (APPLICABLE LOCATION) |
(a) Remove the window regulator.
(b) Install the window glass onto the door glass run.
(c) Check if the door window regulator operates smoothly.
(d) Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it down by hand.
