PROCEDURE

CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS |
(a) Check with the customer to determine if frequent braking has been performed.

RECONFIRM DTC |
(a) Clear the DTC (See page
).
(b) Turn the ignition switch off.
(c) Depress the brake pedal more than 40 times.
(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(e) Wait for 99 seconds.
(f) Check if the same DTC is output (See page
).

DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
1. DESCRIPTION
(a) Blind spot monitor data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from
the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning,
use the Techstream to check for malfunctions and to repair it.
