PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Tie the string that was passed thorough the engine compartment room to the end of the hood lock control cable assembly as shown in the illustration. |
|
(b) Pass the hood lock control cable assembly into the engine compartment.
(c) Engage the 5 clamps and hood cable grommet as shown in the illustration.
(d) Remove the string from the hood lock control cable assembly.
2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly. |
|
|
(b) Engage the claw and 3 guides to install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly. |
|
3. INSTALL HOOD STAY HOLDER
|
(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the hood stay holder. |
|
4. INSTALL HOOD SUPPORT
|
(a) Install the grommet. |
|
(b) Install the hood support.
5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE
7. CONNECT WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Engage the 4 claws to install the 4 clamps. |
|
|
(b) Engage the 4 clamps to connect the washer hose assembly. |
|
8. INSTALL WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL HOOD TO RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL
|
(a) Install the 7 clips and hood to radiator support seal. |
|
10. INSTALL NO. 1 HOOD BULGE PROTECTOR (w/ Hood Bulge)
|
(a) Install the No. 1 hood bulge protector. |
|
11. INSTALL HOOD AIR INTAKE GUIDE (w/ Hood Bulge)
|
(a) Engage the 5 guides to install the hood air intake guide. |
|
(b) Install the 4 screws.
12. INSTALL NO. 2 HOOD BULGE PROTECTOR (w/ Hood Bulge)
|
(a) Install the No. 2 hood bulge protector. |
|
13. INSTALL HOOD BULGE ASSEMBLY (w/ Hood Bulge)
|
(a) Engage the clip from the back side of the hood panel to install the hood bulge assembly together with the air intake guide. |
|
(b) Install the 4 nuts.
