1. FAIL-SAFE OPERATION AND DEACTIVATION CONDITION

CAN communication signal from skid control ECU is received and ignition switch is turned from off to ON

Switching from 2WD to H4 and rear differential free to locked prohibited When rear differential is locked, rear differential switches to free

for 2WD:

Switching from rear differential free to locked prohibited

When rear differential is locked, rear differential switches to free

Wheel speed sensor malfunction signals from skid control ECU return to normal and ignition switch is turned from off to ON

Switching from 2WD to H4 and rear differential free to locked prohibited When rear differential is locked, rear differential switches to free
