Toyota Tacoma (2015-2018) Service Manual: Heater Circuit (C1AAE)

DESCRIPTION

If the forward recognition camera detects a malfunction in the camera heater (forward recognition hood) circuit, it will output a malfunction signal to the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly via CAN communication and DTC C1AAE will be stored.

When the ignition switch is ON, the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly receives a camera heater (forward recognition hood) circuit malfunction signal from the forward recognition camera continuously for 5 seconds or more.

HINT:

If DTC C1AAE is output by the pre-collision system, perform troubleshooting for the forward recognition camera system.
