DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) measures the speed of each wheel by receiving signals from the speed sensors. These signals are used for recognizing whether all 4 wheels are operating properly. Therefore, all wheel signals must be equal.

CHECK TIRE SIZE |
(a) Check tire size and condition of all 4 wheels.
OK:
All 4 wheels are the same size and in the same condition.

REPLACE TIRES SO THAT ALL 4 TIRES ARE SAME IN SIZE |

CHECK SPEED SENSOR ROTOR |
(a) Remove the drive shaft, and check around the speed sensor rotor.
OK:
No scratches or foreign matter on the sensor tip.

(a) Check the speed sensor circuit.

RECONFIRM DTC |
(a) Clear the DTCs (See page ).
(b) Drive the vehicle at more than 20 km/h (13 mph) for more than 60 seconds.
(c) Check if the same DTCs are detected.
