DISPOSAL
PROCEDURE
1. DISPOSE OF FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY
(a) Fully extend the shock absorber piston rod, and fix it at an angle in a vise or similar tool.
(b) Using a drill or similar tool, slowly make a hole in the shaded area shown in the illustration, and discharge the gas inside.
CAUTION:
- The gas is colorless, odorless and harmless.
- Since the discharged gas may cause chips to scatter, cover the drill with a shop rag when making the hole.

DESCRIPTION
The side squib LH circuit consists of the airbag sensor assembly and the front
seat airbag assembly LH.
This circuit signals the SRS to deploy when airbag deployment conditions are
met.
These DTCs are set when a malfunction is detected in the side squib LH circuit.
