DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
NOTICE:
In the table below, the values listed under "Normal Condition" are reference values. Do not depend solely on these reference values when deciding whether a part is faulty or not.
HINT:
Using the Techstream to read the Data List allows the values or states of switches, sensors, actuators and other items to be read without removing any parts. This non-intrusive inspection can be very useful because intermittent conditions or signals may be discovered before parts or wiring is disturbed. Reading the Data List information early in troubleshooting is one way to save diagnostic time.
DATA LIST
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Central Gateway / Data List.
(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

Starter Relay Circuit Short to Battery (P061512)
DESCRIPTION
While the engine is being cranked, positive battery voltage is applied to terminal
STA of the ECM. If the ECM detects the starter control (STA) signal while the vehicle
is being driven, it determines that there is a malfunction in the STA circuit. The
ECM then illuminates the MIL ...
Clutch Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
Clutch switch circuit inspection is necessary for manual transmission vehicles.
When the clutch pedal is released, the ECM receives the positive (+) battery
voltage through the ECU-IG NO. 2 fuse and ignition switch. While the clutch pedal
is depressed, the clutch switch assembly se ...
