DESCRIPTION

Refer to Slip Indicator Light Remains ON (See page WIRING DIAGRAM ).

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When replacing the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid), perform calibration (See page ).
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1.	CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING)

2.	PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT)

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Active Test.

(e) According to the display on the Techstream, perform the Active Test.

(f) When performing the slip Warning Light Active Test, check slip indicator light in the Data List.

REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID

3.	INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Perform Active Test of the combination meter assembly using the Techstream.

OK:

The slip warning light turns on or off in accordance with the Techstream.

REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID

GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM
