Adjustment procedure

1. Hold the steering wheel firmly and push the adjustment lever downward to release the steering column lock.

2. Adjust the steering wheel to the preferred driving position by moving it horizontally and vertically until a comfortable and appropriate position is reached.

After completing the adjustment, pull the lever upward to securely lock the Toyota Tacoma steering wheel in place.

Make sure that the steering wheel is securely locked before driving by checking that it does not move unexpectedly.

The horn may not sound correctly if the steering wheel is not securely locked in its proper position.

Caution while driving

Do not adjust the Toyota Tacoma steering wheel while driving.

Attempting to adjust the steering wheel while the vehicle is moving may cause the driver to lose proper control of the vehicle and could result in an accident causing death or serious injury.

After adjusting the steering wheel

Make sure that the steering wheel is securely locked in the selected position. Otherwise, the steering wheel may move suddenly while driving, possibly causing an accident that could result in death or serious injury.

Sounding the horn

Press on or close to the Toyota Tacoma horn symbol on steering wheel mark on the steering wheel to sound the horn.
