(a) Replace the air filter with a new one.
5. REPLACE ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER

7. INSPECT RADIATOR FIN
(a) Check that the radiator and condenser are not blocked with leaves, dirt, or insets, and clean the hose connection.
8. INSPECT GASKET IN FUEL TANK CAP

9. INSPECT CHARCOAL CANISTER
HINT:
10. INSPECT FUEL LINES, CONNECTIONS AND FUEL TANK VAPOR VENT SYSTEM HOSES AND FUEL TANK BAND
(a) Visually check the fuel lines for cracks, leakage, loose connections, deformation or tank band looseness.
11. INSPECT EXHAUST PIPE AND MOUNTING
(a) Visually check the pipes, hangers and connections for severe corrosion, leaks or damage.

Air Mix Damper Position Sensor Circuit (Driver Side) (B1436/36)
DESCRIPTION
This sensor detects the position of the air mix damper (for driver side) and
sends the appropriate signals to the air conditioning amplifier assembly. The position
sensor is built into the No. 3 air conditioning radiator damper servo sub-assembly
(for driver side air mix).
