INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEATER RELAY

(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal.

Standard:

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
3 - 4	Below 1 Ω
3 - 4	10 kΩ or higher (Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2)
3 - 5	10 kΩ or higher
3 - 5	Below 1 Ω (Apply battery voltage to terminals 1 and 2)

If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.
