DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
1. DESCRIPTION
(a) The power window control system data can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.
2. CHECK DLC3
(a) Check the DLC3 (See page .gif)

3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE
(a) Measure the battery voltage.
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V
If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

1. INSPECT OIL CLEARANCE
(a) Using a micrometer and caliper gauge, measure the oil seal clearance.
Standard clearance:
0.021 to 0.043 mm (0.0008 to 0.0017 in.)
Maximum clearance:
0.07 mm (0.0028 in.)
If it is greater than the maximum, replace the vane pump assembly.
