CHECK CONDITION |

(a) Check with the customer if the vehicle has been turned by a turntable. OK: Vehicle has not been turned by a turntable. HINT: If the vehicle is turned on a turntable with the ignition switch ON, the system may store the angular velocity. As a result, the vehicle position cursor may deviate. In this case, the vehicle position cursor will return to normal by turning the ignition switch off and back to ON again with the vehicle completely stopped. |

When the ECM determines that there is a malfunction, the ECM illuminates the
MIL and stores a DTC.
HINT:
When these DTCs are stored, the ECM cuts the current supplied to the throttle
motor and the throttle valve returns to the predetermined opening amount by the
return spring.
