FREEZE FRAME DATA

DESCRIPTION

(a) When a pre-collision system DTC is stored, the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly stores the current vehicle (ECU or sensor) state as Freeze Frame Data.

CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.

Click here (e) According to the Techstream display, select a DTC that stored freeze frame

(e) According to the Techstream display, select a DTC that stored freeze frame data.

(f) Read the freeze frame data recorded when the DTC was stored.

Assist Lv2: Brake pedal firmly depressed during pre-collision brake assist operation

Signal status changes when the pre-collision brake assist is activated before a crash (Pre-collision brake will activate only in situations where the driver depresses the brake pedal)
