DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives remote control signals from the driver door key cylinder or wireless transmitter. Then, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the remote control signals to the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) via LIN communication. The sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) receives those signals and activates the sliding roof motor.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

  • The sliding roof key-linked function and sliding roof wireless transmitter-linked function can be customized. Make sure that both functions are ON (See page When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) is ).
  • When the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) is removed and reinstalled or replaced, the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) must be initialized (See page Since the sliding roof system has functions that use LIN communication, ).
