The fog lights improve forward visibility when the Toyota Tacoma is driven in conditions such as rain, fog, or other situations where normal visibility is reduced.

*2 Select this position to turn the front fog lights off when additional low-level illumination is no longer required. -
Select this position to turn the front fog lights on. When operating conditions permit, the fog lights provide additional illumination close to the road surface and can make the area ahead easier to see in poor weather.

Fog lights can be used when
The front fog lights can operate when the parking lights are illuminated or when the Toyota Tacoma headlights are on in low beam. If these lighting conditions are not met, switching the fog light control to the ON position will not activate the fog lights.
During rain, fog, or similarly reduced-visibility conditions, use the Toyota Tacoma fog lights together with the appropriate exterior lighting rather than relying on them as a substitute for the low beam headlights.
